Easter is one of those times of the year when house decoration can be truly enjoyable, but probably not on the same level as Christmas decor for most of us.

Of course, as long as it doesn't increase the amount of clutter in your home.

Remark: If you have anything you want to let go of, Lent is a great time to do so. You can really download my free printable Lent decluttering challenge here.

So now, let's return to the furnishings!

It's time to welcome some springtime into the house, with its calming, cheery hues and the aroma of brand-new goods.

I hope you enjoy this collection of some of my favorite Easter decorating ideas for your home, which includes both do-it-yourself crafts and carefully chosen home décor items that would bring a touch of Easter into your space this Spring.

In that case, shall we begin?

CRAFT FOR EASTER DECORATION

These DIY craft ideas for home decor are all worthwhile endeavors if you're up for some DIY.

Why not involve the kids as well and have some fun? You never know what you'll come up with!

I love the concept of an Easter tree and have had one in our house for the past couple of years.

These are quite simple to set up and look fantastic!

2. USE KITCHEN ITEMS

A cake stand is a wonderful way to exhibit all the Easter-related trinkets, and an old one can make a pretty table centerpiece. It will be a feature you won't forget if you add rabbits, eggs, flowers, etc.

Or how about this adorable illustration? A bunny carrying a platter always makes me think of Easter!

You may have some fun on your front door and make a really pleasant greeting, whether you choose a more typical wreath-style item or something more creative like some of the ones above (carrots from tulips, anyone?).

4. AN OBJECT ON THE WALL

This is a wonderful concept.

Straightforward but quite useful, and great for a more understated Easter home decor style.

NOTE: If you'd like to use the free printable spring subway art I made for the wall, it's available in the free printables library. Take it HERE.

Key Items To Focus On For Easter Decor

1. DURABLE FURNISHINGS

Change out some of your heavy winter throws and pillows for lighter ones for spring.

Items with spring-inspired patterns, linens and cotton, and lighter iterations of your color scheme will all look great.

Why save these for the holidays only?

There are SO many different methods to make a beautiful wreath. Have fun with it and use fresh flowers, ornamental eggs, twigs, and so much more.

Without some fresh flowers in your home, spring wouldn't be spring.

It makes sense to utilise flowers at Easter as well because I adore adding plants like daffodils, crocuses, pussy willow, and all the favorites of Spring. You can find them in so many colors to fit your design, too.

Why not make a lovely table centerpiece? Many of us enjoy large family dinners on Easter Sunday and in the days leading up to it.

It's so much fun to arrange some eggs in a vase with a runner.

This is my favorite because it's simple to make and looks fantastic around the house.

A large vase can be filled with huge twigs or springtime foliage. Decorative eggs and other objects can then be hung from the vase.

You can complement your home's decor by being as creative or as simple as you like.

There you have it, then! Get a tonne of motivation and suggestions for decorating your home for Easter this spring.

I adore giving my home a light, springlike feel, and I can't wait for you to do the same.
