CHICKEN BACON RANCH PASTA

INGREDIENTS:
6 slices bacon cut into bite-sized pieces
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 3/4-inch cubes
4 1/2 cups chicken broth warmed, low sodium is best
1 packet ranch dressing powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
16 oz. penne or rotini pasta
1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
1/2 cup half and half
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
The Instant Pot with bacon. By use of the display panel Choose SAUTE and set the level to HIGH or MORE.
Once the majority of the oil has been extracted from the bacon, add the chicken and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, gently browning both sides. Possible undercooking of the meat
While saving the drippings, remove the chicken and bacon to a platter.
By adding broth and scraping the brown particles from the bottom of the pot with a wooden spoon, you may deglaze the pot.
Add chicken, garlic powder, and ranch seasoning to the pot. Add the pasta to the saucepan and make sure it is covered after stirring to incorporate.
Choose CANCEL to shut off the pot, then seal the vent and secure the lid.
