HOW TO CLEAN YOUR KITCHEN IN 10 MINUTE

Use our 10 Minute Kitchen Cleaning to learn how to keep your kitchen clean in just 10 minutes each day.

Nothing is worse than waking up to supper leftovers on the counters and dirty dishes in the sink from the previous evening. You may avoid a buildup of kitchen cleaning throughout the week by using this simple 10-minute clean.

You can clean your kitchen in just 10 minutes a day, despite the fact that it might not seem conceivable. The key to keeping your kitchen clean with minimal work and time is to maintain it.

Your home will remain constantly tidy if you simply set aside a short amount of time each day to keep up with the clutter and mess. Spend a moment putting things back instead than dropping them on counters and leaving them out. You'll save hours of time just picking up for a minute here and there.

GATHER SUPPLIES

Spend some time gathering your cleaning supplies before you begin. Create a cleaning caddy if you don't already have one. When you're ready to clean, just pull out a few of your favourite cleaning tools, and everything will be at hand. You won't have to travel back and forth to buy supplies, which will save you significant time.

I suggest having the following cleaning materials on hand to clean the kitchen:

PICK UP CLUTTER

Collecting all the clutter is the first item on the kitchen cleaning checklist. Get a basket and place everything that doesn't belong on the counters or table in it after putting away any trash.

Afterwards, you can return to take care of the things you gathered. You'll be able to avoid becoming distracted by cleaning other areas of your house and instead concentrate on only cleaning the kitchen.

FILL THE SINK WITH SOAPY WATER

After clearing the debris and setting the basket aside, fill your sink with hot, soapy water. In this manner, you can begin cleaning the kitchen while the dishes soak.

Do this step before clearing the clutter if you don't have a dishwasher and you know your dishes might require a little longer soaking time before you can wash them.

WIPE COUNTERS

Spray your table and counters with your preferred cleanser, then wipe them off with a cloth. Then proceed to the stove and repeat the process there. If any food is stuck on, use a magic eraser or non-abrasive sponge to remove it.

I also like to quickly wipe off the fronts of the dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.

SWEEP OR VACUUM THE FLOOR

The counters have been cleaned, and the mess has been picked up by this point. Give the floor a quick sweep or vacuum in a minute.

I try to sweep the floor quickly at least once a day because we have 2 cats and 1 dog living in our house. Aim for at least a few times per week, but I understand that this may not be practical for everyone.

WASH THE DISHES/FILL THE DISHWASHER

Washing the dishes in the sink and loading the dishwasher are usually the final tasks I perform when cleaning my kitchen. I then simply clean the sink.

I'm done now. You'll see that I didn't wash or empty the trash. If you would rather get it done in the morning, I can do it as part of my nighttime cleaning ritual after dinner. It can be included as the final action.

HOW TO MAKE THIS 10-MINUTE KITCHEN CLEANING

I typically take 15 minutes to complete my morning cleaning regimen, which involves cleaning both my bathroom and my kitchen. I am able to keep up with my weekly cleaning thanks to this. Of course, there are instances when I err on the side of laxity (especially in summer, when I would prefer to be outside). I'll spend a power hour cleaning during this time to get my house back in order.

Break up your chores into reasonable chunks if you are unable to block off 15 minutes in a row in your schedule (this can be difficult if you have young children).

Use each and every opportunity, no matter how tiny. Do you have five minutes to fill the sink with hot, soapy water while you prepare breakfast? Can you fit in a few minutes to quickly sweep the floor after the kids finish their lunch? At any time that is convenient for you, try to fit in these tasks.

HELPFUL TIPS FOR KEEPING A CLEANER HOME

Starting to use cleaning routines and habits to help me keep on top of my daily cleaning was one of the best things I did while my boys were little. I spent a lot less time clearing up junk when I just encouraged everyone in the home to clean up after themselves.

LEARN TO KEEP YOUR HOME CONSISTENTLY CLEAN

While maintaining a clean home may not be something we enjoy doing, we know that it is necessary. So, we have two options: postpone and let the work pile up, increasing our workload later, or create little routines that enable us to constantly maintain a clean home.

A few things that help to keep your home clean all the time are:

  • Either after eating or while you are preparing, clean up.

  • After usage, put everything back where it belongs.

  • Keep magazines, schoolwork, and mail from piling up. As soon as they enter your house, deal with them.

  • To keep motivated to clean, find ways to make it pleasant, such as listening to music.

Do not allow an untidy home overwhelm you; these basic ideas and a few quick cleaning tricks will enable you to maintain a clean home at all times.

You'll discover that these routines ultimately become second nature. You will quickly sweep the floor after meals, wipe the counters, and do the dishes before going to bed or first thing in the morning when you leave a room. Keep in mind that the key to maintaining a clean home is consistency.
