HOW TO ORGANIZE A MESSY HOUSE WHEN YOU'RE TIRED

MAKE A PLAN

Choose a time when you can begin cleaning your house. Set a time on your calendar for whatever you find to be effective. Have Dad take the kids to the park or turn on your child's favourite. Disney movie to ensure that you won't be interrupted. (Or, even better, have everyone chip in to clean the house.) Having a plan in place ensures that everything goes more smoothly in either case.

Check your cleaning materials to see whether you've run out of anything before you start, and stock up before your scheduled cleaning day. A few cleaning items to keep on hand are listed below :

  • microfiber cloth

  • all-purpose cleaner

  • duster

  • toilet cleaner

  • furniture polish

  • mop

  • broom

  • vacuum

  • vinegar (I use it to clean my windows and mirrors)

  • baking soda (A great carpet deodorizer- just sprinkle, let sit for a few minutes, and vacuum)

FORM CLEANING HABITS TO KEEP YOUR HOME CONSISTENTLY CLEAN

Now that you've dealt with the major problem, it's time to focus on forming cleaning habits that will help you remain on top of your cleaning so that major messes like this don't occur as frequently. Life is busy, but being prepared will help you avoid the mess and the overwhelm that comes with it.

Starting a cleaning regimen is the best method to develop improved cleaning habits. One of the finest things I've done to remain on top of my daily cleaning responsibilities is to establish cleaning routines. Over the years, they have unquestionably kept me sane.

Before cleaning schedules, I would spend my entire Saturday morning cleaning, which I would dread the entire week. But, now just taking a few minutes to clean every morning and doing a quick pick up after dinner has helped keep my home clean on a consistent basis.

Hopefully, these pointers have inspired you to regain control over your house and make cleaning easier. Remember that it takes time for habits to develop, but once they do, your home will be spotless and you will be proud of it.
