HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOME FOR SPRING CLEAN

Once more, the flowers are beginning to blossom and everyone is preparing to spring-clean their homes.

It's time to remove the outdated winter décor and put back our home's cheerful, vibrant colors. There are a few things I enjoy doing to make our house seem beautiful and fresh.

FOR YOUR HOME TO FEEL FRESH FOR SPRING, START WITH A THOROUGH SPRING CLEANING!

Giving our house a thorough spring cleaning is my favorite thing to do initially. I choose a nice weekend that I can dedicate to cleaning the entire apartment. I like to organize and tidy each space as I go, paying close attention to every last detail. Check out the declutter workbook in the resource library if your home has a little extra clutter.

Setting the stage for a new, fresh feeling in your home is a thorough deep cleaning. Open the windows to let in the fresh spring air, light some candles or diffuse some essential oils, and then let's talk about the décor!

FRESH FRUIT AND PLANTS CAN BE USED TO CREATE VIBRANT SPRINGTIME HUES.

It's time to bring the outside inside next! In the spring, I enjoy bringing greenery into every room of our house.

A fun approach to brighten up every space, enhance the quality of the air, and provide you countless opportunities to make a statement with vases is to add new, fresh greenery.

However, not every room in our house receives adequate sunlight, so in some of those spaces, I choose artificial flowers. The caliber of the fake flowers you choose must be taken into consideration. I adore the color and craftsmanship of these bouquets of imitation thistles. They can be coupled with a wide variety of vases and add soft colors. These fake natural wax blossoms are another favorite for spring. They come in a number of hues, but yellow is my favorite.

I LIKE TO UTILIZE DIFFERENT FRUITS AS DECOR IN THE KITCHEN.

Bright lemons add a wonderful splash of color to a plate or a stand. Apples, oranges, or limes are all acceptable. Your spring décor will be enhanced by any fruit that your family enjoys and that can add a vibrant splash of color to your kitchen. Since you'll be preparing meals or consuming fruit anyhow, decorating with it is really practical.

BRING IN SOME NEW LINENS FOR YOUR HOUSE AS ANOTHER FANTASTIC APPROACH TO FRESHEN IT UP.

I enjoy changing up my throw pillows and blankets according to the season. I prefer to acquire throw pillow coverings in several styles to make this easier. Depending on your specific design preferences, there are countless alternatives. You can choose from vibrant pops of color, clever quips, or enjoyable printed floral patterns!

I'll admit it right up front. I have no self-control whatsoever. There is always a reason I can persuade myself to buy something, even if it is exactly like the one I already own. What can I say, I prefer to be comfortable.

I started searching for throw blankets in various hues and designs to match the seasons to help justify my addiction. It's time to retire my throw with a snowman print and bring out my yellow botanical print instead!

SHOP FROM HOME.

Shopping at home is one thing I do every season that really makes a difference. There are a few methods I prefer to use for this.

This method has the most impact, so if you've never done it before, you might want to give it a shot. Remove your décor room by room. I will leave something if it is difficult to get rid of it, but I will make a mental note that it is still there.

You now have a lot of décor and a blank canvas to work with. You'd be astonished at what you can come up with if you tried out various pieces in other parts of your home, and how much of a difference it can make!

We didn't want to spend the money to decorate the living room all at once, so I bought pieces every week and put it together gradually.

I would have an idea of where I wanted each piece when I purchased it, but after taking everything down and switching practically everything, the overall design looked so much better!

Additionally, doing this can be quite time-consuming and labor-intensive. Try instead to walk through your house room by room seeing the décor from other rooms in that space, and shift some stuff around, if you are skilled at visualizing what your space might look like.

ENJOY YOUR NEW, FRESH SPACE FOR SPRING!

Your house is now spotless and fragrant. There is lush, vibrant flora all surrounding your house. Your décor feels fresh because it is in a different area of your house, and there are new pops of color and enjoyable spring patterns.
